How do I pay for college?
Submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
- FAFSA applications open in October for the following fall semester. Visit fafsa.gov for more info or contact Moorhead’s Office of Scholarship & Financial Aid to have a financial representative guide you through the process.

Freshman Academic Scholarships
- Minnesota State Moorhead rewards academic achievement by offering renewable scholarships to incoming students with a minimum 3.2 high school GPA. These awards do not require a separate application.
- Remember to ask your school counselor what scholarships are available to apply for in your community.
