Ballroom Package Details
We are excited to assist you in the planning of your wedding. All wedding packages are available in the MSUM Comstock Memorial Union (CMU) Ballroom. A non-refundable 50% deposit is required at the time of booking.
Time to decorate must be scheduled with your booking. All packages include event staff on-site for your wedding day, audio equipment, assortment of tables and chairs, complete room setup, tear down, and clean up. Additional Fees for catering, insurance, additional hours, and special requests. Final payment is required one week prior to the event.
Package 1 - $3,500
- Full Wedding & Reception
- Includes up 15 Hours
- Hours can be split over a two-day period
- Additional Time $245/hour
Package 2 - $2,700
- Includes up to 8 Hours
- Hours must be used on 1 day
- Additional Time $220/hour
Package 3 - $2,000
- Includes up to 5 Hours
- Hours must be used on 1 day
- Additional Time $220/hour
Decorating
- Plans must be provided in writing and approved by CMU staff.
- Delivery of flowers must be made on the day of the event.
- Guests must provide their own extension cords, if needed.
- Candles must be in a container at least two inches higher than the flame when lit.

Decorations Not Allowed
Aisle Runners, Alcohol, Birdseed, Confetti, Glitter, Helium Balloons, Rice, Silly String, and Soap Bubbles. Charges may apply if rules are not followed.
Clergy
Minnesota State does not provide clergy. Couples are responsible for securing an officiator who is certified to provide ceremonies in the state of Minnesota.
Catering
All food & beverage served must be provided by Sodexo Catering Services.
Sodexo offers fresh ingredients, creative preparations, elegant presentation, and thoughtful service. Catering options include full-service receptions, buffets, sit-down meals, snacks & more!
